AboutDeath Slam Events
Learn about our mission, our journey, and the passionate team of volunteers who make competitive Deadlock accessible to everyone.
How It Started
The origins of Death Slam Events
Death Slam Events was originally born out of a lunch conversation at Poulet Rouge in Downtown Montréal between REF and Deathy in the middle of the brutal winter.
After weeks of discussing ideas, Deathy told REF: “Fuck it, let's just do a tournament and see what happens.”
Over the months, our mission has evolved and so has our community. We now have a full staff of volunteers.
Our Mission
Our purpose and commitment to the community
“We will empower everyday gamers with a structured, team-based competitive experience designed for those who love gaming but are not chasing the pro or elite grind.”
Our ecosystem provides the excitement of organized play within a casual and inclusive environment.
A space where teamwork and friendships matter as much as the game itself.
